PlumbFast redesigns roof drainage at The Anchorage, Port Melbourne
PlumbFast recently came to the rescue when a major new property development in Port Melbourne experienced regular flooding in various parts of the building.
Located in Beach Road, Port Melbourne, The Anchorage features 300 apartments and incorporates the old Swallow and Ariel biscuit factory façade. The site is property developer MAB Corporation’s first residential property development in the inner bayside suburb.
The Anchorage was experiencing regular flooding, as a result of faulty drainage. Over a period of several months, PlumbFast redesigned and installed a new drainage system, in consultation with engineers and the Owner’s Corporation. To the relief of owners and residents, PlumbFast managed to efficiently and cost effectively solve all drainage issues, with minimal disruption.
“PlumbFast has worked on a major and often problematic roof upgrade over the past 12 months, and we couldn’t be more impressed. Their contribution to finding the best solutions has been exceptional. Their work is top notch – as is their management of the project on-site, their consideration of residents, and their professionalism. I trust them 100% to know what they’re doing – do what they say they will – and treat the money we need to spend wisely.”
